We love to help others

The ward decided to do a service project. A chance to help someone else, show what "Charity" really means. We tied 3 quilts and colored at least 10 file folder games. Of course there was also plenty of food to go around, pizza, chips, cookies.
Fowlers enjoy the coloringElmers wait patiently for their turn at the markers
Orr's aren't afraid to tackle a quilt
(The bishop needs to make them the new Quilting specialists)

Kristen gets the needles loaded Teaching Greg the finer points of quilting
Even the bishopric gets involved

Brother Doyle got an "A" in cutting when he was in Kindergarten.
So many colors to choose from, the McMullins have a hard time deciding.
Coloring or cutting, Carsons love to serve and have fun doing it.

Even project needs a spectator and these two were perfect
Stephanie can't decide what's next
Almost done
The race is on to see who can finish theirs first.

And the winner is!!!! (Sister Broulim is one fast quilter)
Second Place

The final quilt being checked for bad knots.

The Bishop and Shawnee check the instruction as Sister Broulim stacks the frames for storage

CY, checking out the finish quilt, giving them the "baby" seal of approval.

Thanks to those who came and helped, with a special thanks to Sister Fowler for sewing together one of the quilts. Somewhere there is someone who will need these items and we will receive double blessings in heaven for being the ones who made it possible.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You

Rexburg Nature Park Clean-up

The ward took the opportunity to do a service project. They cleaned up the Rexburg Nature Park. Despite the cloudy and chilly weather, young and all gathered to help.

Like all good ward activities it began with muffins and juice. Can't expect the folks to works on an empty stomach. Besides, it gives everyone a chance to mix and mingle before they take on the work.
Trevino's and Boehmes enjoyed working together.
Ashley and Kinsley weren't afraid to pick up garbage.

Brock wasn't so sure.

A last minute addition.
With lots of hands it made short work of the project.
Thanks everyone who helped. A very rewarding day.
