Okay, you get three because we (actually I) couldn't decide which to use. These are costumes from Halloween 2006. Like every year, some of the costumes were unbelievable. Jack Sparrow and his misses

Cupcake mania
The Enrichment activity tonight was a CUPCAKE MANIA. So very yummy and fun. First we had five different kinds of cupcakes, (all delicious, I know because I tried them all) and several types of frosting, top it off with every imaginable flavor of toppings.
So many choices, how can anyone decide
A lot of thought went into them

Friday memories
In Rexburg, behind the middle school is a hidden lake/park. The ward had connections (thanks Anderson twins) and we held our Summer luau there, complete with Polynesian dancers and especially "Bob" who did a special perfomance for us. The lake included paddle boats, canoes, and a zip line. A beautiful evening was enjoyed by everyone. The Miller's taking the paddle boat for a spin.

Float Part II
A disposable camera and camera phone went on the float with them. Here a few of the photos. The Kimbles.
Part way down the float they stopped to enjoy the slide.
Because it was so chilly not many actually tried it.
Just a leisure float
Brother Rohrer took advantage of the warm road to to a deep warm.
Garners enjoyed it
They put in a call to Brother Broulim to come rescue them.
At the end was a railroad bridge that had to be navigated.
Despite it being a chilly day, most didn't get too cold.
It was fun.

Friday rememberances
The boys and their cars. We held a no weight limit pinewood derby. They met together and built their cars, an anything goes. They were certainly creative with their designs and weights.
Freezing Float Trip
Brrrrrr, Saturday turned cold, but we are tough. The ward went on a short float trip down the Snake River drybeds. (named because it is a dry channel in the winter) After meeting at Brother and Sister Broulims, they donned their suits, grabbed a blue tube and off they went. While the adventerous ones were off getting cold those with little ones stayed at Broulims to nap and visit. Even a few of the not so little ones took a nap.
After the frozen ones returned (okay they weren't really frozen, just chilled) they were greeted with yummy food, and lots of it.

They sat on the deck enjoyed the sun and got warm and full.
Thanks again Broulims for being the best hosts around. You share your house and yard, your talents and best of all your love.
There were pictures taken while floating, but you will have to wait until they get developed or sent to me and I will pass along the best of them. Watch for float trip part II

Friday photo
The first time the Bishop cooked our Salt and Vinegar grilled chicken in the ward it was coollldddd..... This of course was back before we had the new church. So we cooked it at the shelter by the Church just to the west of World Gym, then took it over to enjoy at the clubhouse/lounge. It was tasty as witnessed by Ross.
THANKS for the memories Ross and Emily.
